Successful Meeting in Hungary: EMAPS-Cardio Partners Discuss Progress and Future Plans

On 8 and 9 February, the EMAPS-Cardio consortium convened for a productive progress meeting in the picturesque town of Gödöllő, Hungary.

The meeting was marked by in-depth discussions on the progress achieved over the past years, with partners sharing their successes and challenges and aligning on goals and tasks for the forthcoming project months.

The first day was filled with engaging presentations and dialogues by the representatives of the project’s three working groups: the cell cultures and models group, the insert platform group and the bioreactor group. Each working group offered updates on the scientific progress on the way to completing their respective tasks. Furthermore, the partners shared their most recent findings, models, and plans. This exchange enhanced partners’ ability to cooperate and address challenges in the implementation of the work plan early on.

Day 1 concluded with a joint dinner, providing partners with an opportunity to connect on a more personal level. The delicious meal served as a fitting end to a day of intense discussions and was much appreciated by all attendees.

The second day, albeit shorter, was equally intense. The partners seized the opportunity to further align their objectives and establish tasks for the upcoming year. A workshop on the exploitation of the research results generated in the project offered ample opportunity to discuss the future impact of the EMAPS-Cardio research.

We extend our thanks to all partners for their participation in this productive meeting.
